Hi, my name is wang xi, but the name Reginald has been stuck with me so much as it's printed on my degree certificate for ten years, and the name thing is telltale, for i was in the UK for six years and actually just got back two months ago.
i have to say i am really stopping by, before i eventually move to America to do my phd.

my degree subject was psychology and i will continue in academic psychology for probably the rest of my life.

i am 6 foot, working out is part of my life since 14, spectaccled (yea, pretty unusual huh)
i like talking to ppl, going to movies, and always up for a romantic cooking session, music session, or just a walk.I am responsible, and yet non-possessing. I play the piano and music is my better half, ;)

i guess the best way to express my philosophy is to say this: i believe there is always more than meet the eyes in people, nobody is really what they seem to be and EVERYBODY IS AN INDIVIDUAL, regardless what racial background, social background she's from.

I am hoping to meet a western (it's just a personal choice), and most importantly, western-minded woman who is not afraid to speak up her opinions, and who is mature, i hope we can build a mutual respect, trust and maybe a relationship.

it was even before i went abroad that I find myself more comfortable with western girls, and in England, my social circle is almost exclusively local and western-influenced people, the idea with WESTERN means not the skin color, even though mostly they happen to be white, and they find me part of their own kind.
as much as i wanted to go out with my fellow Chinese as well as English people, the Chinese in the UK, those I met, was uncomfortable with me thinking in the western mindset, unfortunately. I hope the new Beijing can help me change my opinion.

Just like a lot of Jew families tend to send their kids back to the middle east to regain their lost heritage, i am in beijing regaining my heritage, which was slipping away despite my apparent fluent beijing tongue.
