May - August Work With A French Leather Company
As from May 17, started to work for the French leather company. Before June 10th, the work was focused on visiting exhibitions, markets and tanneries in Guangzhou, Foshan, Jiangmen and Dongguan; Between June 10 and August 10, accompanied the boss to Hangzhou, Haining (Zhengjiang Province) and Jiangyin (Jiangsu Province) to purchase finished leather, silk and fabric.

This job continues after the boss returned to France. As per the instructions from the Company, started to promote black suede in Guangzhou as from September 20th, ordered and inspected finished leather from Haining between Oct.1-10 and handle, even now, the communications between the Company and the customers or suppliers and pay/collect money to/from suppliers/customers.

March - May Work With Guangzhou Steelworks
Between March 31 and May 15, worked with the Guangzhou Steelworks in Nansha, where a Sino-Japanese joint-venture had to install high-voltage power supply system and zin pot system for its galvanealing procedure. The equipment was supplied by an American company and the installation and training had to be done by the same. So an on-site interpreter was required to assist the American and German engineers.

The installation and training was suspended for one week, during which, one visit to Shunde for business negociation between a machinery manufacturer and its Middle-East customers (April 21), one visit to Zhongshan for a lamp manufacturer to receive its Canadian customers (April 24) and one meeting between a Shenzhen import & export company and a Middle-East trader for tariff refunding negociation in Guangzhou (April 25).
